I am a self-taught artist who recently left Halifax and moved to the  Gulf Shore in Nova Scotia. I have been coming to this area since I was a child and my parents have lived here for 26 years. I love the ocean and find inspiration and peace in this slower way of life. I started painting in 2002 after a friend let me use his oil paints & I got hooked on my creative side. I studied English & Public Relations in Halifax and ended up working in the high end hotel market for many years in event planning and in 2010 I left my job to pursue art full time. I work with both oil & acrylic and create vibrant abstracts which can be seen in locations all over Nova Scotia and as far away as Toronto, BC and even NYC. I have always been inspired by design and love mid century modern. I love colour although I am colour blind. I have helped support several charities with my work including Kids Help Phone, The Canadian Liver Foundation, QE2 Bust A Move for Breast Health, Adsum House, Alice House, St Leonard’s Society of NS , Dalhousie Medical Humanities,  Halifax Dance, NS Lab rescue,  Football NS , 100 Women Who Care Halifax & Elderdog Canada & Northumberland Links Golf Club.  I am currently selling my work  through my website & social media. I look forward to hearing from you…
