About

I am a self-taught artist living in beautiful Gulf Shore Nova Scotia.  I graduated with an English degree from Saint Mary’s University in 1987 and from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1990 with a PR degree. I worked in the high end hotel market for many years in event planning and in 2010 I left my job to pursue art full time. I work with multi media including oils & acrylics and create vibrant abstracts which can be seen in locations all over Nova Scotia and as far away as Newfoundland, Toronto, BC and even New York City. I have always been inspired by design and love mid century modern. I love colour although I am colour blind. I love to come to your home and discuss colour and your style before I create a piece for you.  I have helped support several charities with my work including Kids Help Phone, The Canadian Liver Foundation, Adsum House, Alice House, St Leonard’s Society of NS, Dalhousie Medical Humanities,  Halifax Dance & Canadian Paraplegic Association of Nova Scotia. I currently sell some of my work at  Style 52 on Chain Lake Drive,  but mostly through my website. Click on my LINKS section to speak to me on Facebook & Twitter. I look forward to creating something for you very soon!

Thank- you for your interest in my art
